WE MADE IT

Wow, who would have thought 20 hours on a plane could be so much fun?!! 

I have lost all concept of time from yesterday, or today, or whatever it is.

To recap, the pizza was glorious in Chicago, the beer was cold and delicious in Tokyo, and the traffic is totally insane in Hanoi.  I am fairly certain Deirdre managed to hold her breath for the whole ride downtown from the airport.

No confusion yesterday, other than me giving the Vietnamese customs guard 40 bucks when he asked me for my boarding pass!  haha, that was a bit awkward.  I could have sworn he said 40 bucks.

Reminds me of the time I gave the children in Cuba pencils, when they were really asking for pesos, man were they disappointed.  I thought, how cute, they want pencils for school....uhhh no, just some cash

Off for breakfast and our first real exploring in beautiful downtown Hanoi.

If you are reading this right now, I am very impressed with myself.   I know I am not exactly "tech-savvy" but man..

Deirdre an I leave tomorrow morning with stops in Chicago, Tokyo then on to Hanoi.
Needless to say, I was excited to see our 3 hour stop in Chicago. I honestly can't think of a better way to start a vacation than a deep dish pizza for breakfast.

I'll do my best to keep this updated as much as possible, but Deirdre has been known to be a bad influence on me and force me to drink beer and stay out late.
